DIY kit to make your own Genie Bottle pendant in petite size, aka. Pendant Version 1 as described in my project maps for all Chainmaille Genie Bottles. The finished size is 3 3/4" long (including tassels), 1" wide, slightly smaller than Pendant Version 2 (see the last photo for size comparison between Version 1 and 2 pendants).
Note: This listing is a DIY kit for a petite size (Version 1) chainmaille Genie Bottle pendant in the colorway of your choice. It does not contain finished pendants; photos in this listing are for demo purpose to show samples of completed work.
Skill levels: Intermediate; prerequisites include chainmaille Whirlybird and Mobius weaves, and bead stringing with wire wrapped loops. Included in kit: All supplies needed are provided in kit, each item checked for quality and color evenness, packed by components for easy assembly. To better suit the overall themes, certain color options use slightly different shapes of beads than those listed in the project maps; these will be noted in packs. There are also some extra rings to spare. Not included in kit:- Tools are not included. You will need chain nose or flat nose pliers with smooth jaws for the jump rings, round nose pliers for wrapped loops, wire cutter to trim off wire end. A pair of nylon jaw pliers would also be helpful to straighten any kinks in wire.
- Instructions not included. This is one of the DIY kits accompanying the project maps of my Chainmaille Genie Bottle designs. That said, you are welcome to "play by sight", or create your own version with this kit. ;-)
- Select a colorway from among the nature inspired. Thinking of colors other than offered, or any specific out-of-stock option options? Drop me a note and I'll be happy to help with my best.
- Add a curb chain necklace to complete your ready-to-wear piece . This is an all stainless steel neck chain, 32" long, with lobster claw clasp, in smooth diamond-cut curb chain, the same style as the tassels below the genie bottle, for a fluid, polished look. Bit too long for you? You can always shorten the chain or further customize it to better suit your need; the options are yours. :-)
